Kicking off 2025 with a teaser of sorts.
The next few years of me writing fanfics are gonna have a far more structured approach. Experimental, sure. But structured. More fanfics. Lower word counts. More stories to tell. And more humans.
Humans have always been about in the universes of Monster High, Ever After High and Hotel Transylvania. But the times we see them, and actually consider the effect of monsters on them rather than vice versa, is extremely rare. Some are unaware monsters even exist. Some couldn't exist without them. But whatever the case, wherever monsters go they always leave a mark. And through these five short stories, we will see that that mark, while not always bad, is always significant...
Welcome to the GCB: Experimental Era. More goths. More stories. More realism. More fanfics. More of the franchises we love, growing up with their audience. I hope that these stories serve as a template for the unforgettable tales to be told over the next few years. They certainly do for me.

his is a project I've been thinking of writing for a little while, but never really had the inspiration for. Until now.
Guys, gals and non binary pals, I give you...an adult, top-to-bottom reworking of Monster High: Great Scarrier Reef!
I think it's universally agreed that the OG Great Scarrier Reef was, to put it lightly, gimmicky crap. But I think the potential was somewhat there. Lagoona just had to be written correctly, and the plot lines which were only really there to sell toys had to go. I've done that, and gone even further. Now we have a spiritual successor of sorts to Escape from Skull Shores-adding to that story, while also continuing focus on Lagoona and Gil as a couple and as their own characters. Both have their own pasts and prejudices. And don't you worry. Just like Heath and Abbey's relationship in this fic, and characters who may otherwise get next to no time in the spotlight like Sirena, those will be front and centre.
All my previous fics have had inspiration similar to a Pinterest board. Mostly inspired by things or events. But this is the first one to be inspired by a person. My old friends. This book is for them.
