When her childhood friend Max offers her a place to stay and tells her about a job opening at the local mechanics, Furiosa starts to hope for some semblance of a normal life for the first time. And when she meets a bartender with an Australian accent who happens to also be Max's other roommate, her world starts to get both a bit brighter and a little more confusing.

Nux was supposed to die when the War Rig crashed. In fact, by all accounts he did. However, given the fact he just woke up in a strange house in Gastown, he suspects he did not, in fact, die. Meanwhile, Capable finds herself helping to steer the Wasteland's most powerful fortress towards a better system, mourning the loss of her friends and dealing with an incapacitated Furiosa. Slit would very much like everyone to fuck off so he can suffer in peace.
Somehow, these three sets of circumstances will start a revolution.
