Of course it doesn't help that she's got Athena on her tail and a war brewing in the horizon.

“I did it exactly like you told me” she responded, looking from the flower she had made herself, to the obviously better version of it not so far away.
“My Lady,” the voice, despite low, was gentle and patient. “Perhaps you should try to flick your wrist to the side, like that,” he demonstrated, handling the brush elegantly, like only a Master could do. “That will make it lighter, permitting layers to be applied more efficiently,”
Sending a cold glance up to him, the girl mimicked the action, verging on mockery with wild gestures.
“Like that, Mister Halloway?”
“Yes, Lady,” the man sighed, sounding a little defeated.
