It's incredible, how much Tommy looks like the king. There was no blood resemblance, the goddess of death could never bring life to her angel, but they had the same hair, the same blue eyes. They both sighed and rubbed the right side of their faces, and their left eyes twitched when they lied.
He could see himself in prince Wilbur, and the royal guard captain Technoblade, in twinkling eyes, bared teeth, and a jaw popping tic the three shared. He could see touches of himself in the way Wilbur wrote with his left hand yet signed with his right, the way Technoblade's knee cracked when the snow would fall in a few hours.

Summary
The sad thing was, Friend didn’t like Wilbur.
Tommy knew that Friend didn’t like Wilbur, he could see it in the way that Friend seemed to recognize the man but would skirt away from him if he got too close. The sheep was more than content to stay by Tommy’s side and never leave.
It was almost like he could tell that while this was technically the man who cared for him, that version, that part of Wilbur was gone. There was no more soft and sweet Wilbur, there were no more cuddles and pets, there was no more blue.
Friend didn’t like Wilbur anymore.
That was fine. Tommy found that he didn’t like Wilbur anymore either.

It was quiet, Tommy thought. That was certainly strange. It was almost never quiet in the Watson household, not even at night, with Techno always up doing something and Wilbur’s music always floating down the hall no matter the time of day. So why now was it so quiet?
Well no, that was a lie. He could hear shuffling in Wilbur’s room on the other side of the wall, since it was practically silent now save for the clock ticking in the hallway. Man, Tommy fucking hated that clock. Shit wait that was not what he needed to focus on.
What he should be focusing on, was the crying going on in the bedroom next door.
Was Tommy really about to do this? Was he really going over to see what was wrong with his foster brother? Maybe he got dumped, or maybe something was just not going right. It wasn’t serious. Right?
