Summary
Daenerys Targaryen has been in exile for 9 years during the long war after she fled to Essos following the massacre of her family, who sat on The Iron Throne. In exile, Daenerys, alongside loyal companion Jorah Mormont, lives out her days training to fight off the assassins sent by the Lannisters that threaten her life and ultimately starting a new one amongst the Dothraki. When despair hits her again, and the long war finally comes to an end, Daenerys and Jorah sail back to Westeros where House Baratheon, sits on the Iron Throne. There she begins to slip back into her old life, with an old and close friend of William Baratheon, as once again a princess of Westeros. However, with everything she has experienced and seen across Essos, her tastes have changed. She yearns for a better purpose than court life and it seems she has partly outgrown her home. With her loyal companion Jorah and close friend William, Daenerys sails in search of adventure and liberation back in Essos. But after so long, will an evil power call Daenerys back to Westeros? For lurking in the shadows at Casterly Rock, the evil Cersei Lannister, with her new found powers, has more plans for the people of Westeros and more specifically, Daenerys Targaryen.

A desperate war is fought outside the cold walls of Winterfell. It offers two an escape from the Stranger. They find a third as they flee, bleeding and dying at the edge of the woods, outside Winterfell.
All three now flee from both the Stranger and Ramsay and his dogs. Fleeing North. Fleeing towards an unknown death, as well as away from the certainty of such. Fleeing towards and away from the Stranger's cold grasp, as they run and stumble and flee and fight together, to reach safety.

Nessa had missed the snow, missed the cold air that would sneak its way around her body, attaching itself to any slither of bare skin it could find, clinging to it until a fire could chase it away. She’d missed seeing her breath in the air, puffs so white they almost looked like the droves of snow surrounding her, missed the sound of snow under boots as people walked about their daily business.
But this wasn’t the same. Now foreign soldiers were marching in through Winterfell's gates, and the battlements were slick with ice. She remembered standing in the exact same spot all those years ago, before everything changed, before Robb was taken from them and she still had her Lya.

I've outlined it for about 20 chapters and it will done. I just have to move my ass and do it. There's probably not much of a fandom for these two but I love it so I'm writing it. *I'm leaving in my original A/Notes from the FF as they explain a lot of my thought processes as I was writing this.Loathed Season 8. I can't think of one thing I liked about it. So not much of that will be in here but honestly, it's a fic about Sansa Stark hooking up with the Night King so how much canon could actually be included anyway? LOL.

At least Tormund joins her every day in searching the Wolfswood, while Sansa seems all too content ruling in Jon’s stead. Every day she hides behind work and keeps to herself, as if hoping Arya won’t see the awful truth beneath her carefully wrought mask: Sansa doesn’t want him to be found. At least not alive.
