The more Valentine looked at the guy, and the guy looked at him, the more nervous he got. Though the guy did seem familiar.. That once dark brown skin was now replaced by a nice mint-like green. He had his hair tied up with some purple and orange mixed into it. That familiar birthmark that stood out, along with the enchanting eyes..

With the looming threat of the 'Shrivel War' knocking on on the door, Kieran Valentine decides to take a quick trip down to 'Hexico' until the opposing armies work out what he's convinced is a "slight disagreement". While enjoying the beach, the culture, and of course the new batch of hearts to break and love energy to take, a beautiful new girl catches his eye. But with every move he seems to make, and her obviously growing infatuation, her energy either isn't growing, or perhaps there's something wrong with his powers. Will he be able to harvest her heart before his vacation ends?

Kieran gripped his arms scratching at them trying to control his breathing. But without warning a blur of feathers and fur latched on Stroker face, as Stoker loosened his grip on Kieran making him withdraw back in pain as he screamed loudly making everyone watching as Valentine’s Wolpertinger clawed Stroker eyes, as he tried to pry off the animal.

Aunque sean monstruos el miedo puede invadirlos hasta llegar al punto donde las ideas no pueden salir de sus bocas. El temor a ser descubiertos a veces puede ser más fuerte que el sentimiento de alegría que da la inclusión, pues vivir en un entorno un tanto discriminador en algunos asuntos alimenta la inseguridad. En un mundo donde aún reina la homofobia, los descendientes de ciertos demonios y criaturas tenebrosas deben hacer lo que más odian: ocultar quienes son realmente para no salir heridos.
