Summary
28 January 1784: when Admiral and Mrs Graves are awoken by a courier bearing exciting news from Elizabeth and John Graves Simcoe, the Admiral takes this opportunity to look to the past -and the future.
Basically a one-shot spin-off of "The Colonel's Portrait" with a lot of prequel-ly and some sequel-ly moments including a trip down memory lane to Bath in the late 1760s, an offensive satirical Rev War poem, a baby being born and mild mentions of contemporary politics.

Summary
´Always be polite, no matter the situation`, her mother taught her. She looks at the young man, looking at the cup and back at the young man again. “It’s true what they say… blondes are not really the smartest one around…”
“The rope, Daniel,” sighs the Lieutenant, “the rope… under the promise to keep your hands by yourself.”
“I won’t dismiss a cup of fresh tea.”
With a nod of the Lieutenant the young man unties the rope that holds her hands together, but still he keeps as much distant as possible.Series

As the title implies, this is nothing more than a collection of various "deleted scenes" or drafts of fanfiction I will never get myself to write properly. I just had to jump on the bandwagon with this one. :D

Summary
- On Wednesday we wear pink - Reinette_de_la_Saintonge and I agree that the whole Arnold arc is complete bonkers anyway and that the best they could have done to get rid of him, would have been to get Simcoe into the boat called "Get in looser, we´re killing General Arnold". Let´s be honest, with his priority to trade and loot instead of war and throwing away gun powder to make space for tabacco he signed his own death sentence.

Summary
A deputy of Lt. Governor John Graves Simcoe discovers through census data and correlating taxation records the embodiment of oppositional fears as they concern a controversial emancipation decree currently facing litigation. Not given to politics or political manoeuvring, Simcoe opens a correspondence between himself and the only man he has ever known to have a similar conflict between jurisprudence and moral justification.
Now a respected if not yet renowned man of science, Edmund Hewlett discovers that he still has reason to sympathise with the plight of an orphan on the other side of the Atlantic and that of his guardian, an army deserter with a fortune built on coin stolen from the crown.
