When Sofia and her family left their home in Constantinople for Venice due to the war, she decided to throw herself into books as a way to escape the feeling of homesickness she was sure would consume her otherwise. She was not prepared for love, and she DEFINITELY was not prepared to fall for the charismatic storm that was Ezio Auditore da Firenze.

If one were to say, back in 2012, that these three Tenets of the Assassin's Creed were absolute, Desmond would have laughed. With Abstergo around, who was truly innocent? With security cameras at every stoplight, where could one hide? What Brotherhood? All anyone had ever done was betray him.
But after escaping an Abstergo Animus project in Madrid in 2016, those three tenets are more important than ever.
Cut off from the Brotherhood, Desmond must make do with his own team of Animus-trained Assassins and he finally understands. The innocent are blind to the Templar plan. It is possible to hide in a digital world through skill and precision. The Brotherhood are the only family any of them have. They may not be mainstream Assassins, but they are Assassins all the same.

Summary
Ezio always knew his family was never normal. From his brother's abilities ranging from dreams of the future, empathy, and clairvoyance, to his ability to read minds, there was nothing usual about them. Still, he found himself hoping that normalcy will finally grace his family its presence after everything two years ago and he would be able to raise his daughter Flavia in relative peace with the help of his family and especially his friends, Leonardo and Sofia, who might be becoming more than friends.
However, the peace is short lived when people around him begin to die in what appears to be unrelated accidents and violent murders and Ezio begins to hear the thoughts of the killer warning of more death to come. Ezio, Leonardo, and Sofia find themselves thrust unwillingly into the mystery and it becomes a race against time to find out who the culprit or culprits are before more lives are ended. However secrets find themselves trapped the crosshairs of madmen and Ezio can only hope that he can return to a peaceful life alive, and not amongst the growing piles of bodies.
Set two years after Eagle's Vision. Can be read as a standalone, though some things may not make any sense.

Sunflowers represent a long life and lasting happiness. Or do they?
When you get chocked by your soul mark slowly through the years, choking on yellow petals, does the sunflower still represent a long life?
Altaïr was born with a seed on his chest, over the years it slowly spread and every time it did he would cough up yellow petals covered in blood.
Desmond was born with a flower bush around his throat, taking the air from his longs every now and again. Sometimes so bad he ends up in the hospital covered in yellow petals covered in blood, with no answers for the doctors.
Soulmates are bound by a mark, but sometimes that mark can kill.This is based on an idea I had which incorporated the Hanahaki Disease and soul mates/marks. This is why it is called Sunflower, because I have named it The Sunflower AU because of what a sunflower represents (when I google it) and how I feel it can attribute to a lot of hurt/comfort with the meanings one cet with all the flowers that can be used in the AU.
