It's been a bit since the genetic opera, and no one has seen Shilo since it. GeneCo is still after her and she's expertly avoiding attention.
But one day while he's walking down the street GraveRobber finds a drug addict, a very common sight nowadays. Except, this drug addict is a familiar face. And someone who was certainly not like this two months ago.

IMPORTANT: I have not seen this movie nor do I plan to be doing so anytime soon, this story will also be much slower to update than my other stories. But I know the plot and the characters, and so this idea came to mind, so I tried to write a story for a movie I haven't seen.
My Heathers story is my main focus right now, but I wanted to put this out here anyways. It won't be as good as the stories written by those who are in the fandom, but this will be written and finished eventually

“About me?” he adds.
“It’s kind of weird that you’re not talking to her,” Amber continues, ignoring the question. “I don’t know. I just think if you care enough to look out for her, you could at least say hi. Or are you too scared to show that you have a heart?” She asks, grinning.
“Oh, come on. Go back to the bit where you two were speaking.” Graverobber says.

“What are you doing here?” she blurts out in a startled half whisper, forgetting that there was no one to keep secrets from anymore.
“Just paying a visit, heard from a friend that someone’s an orphan now, aren't you lucky?”
Her face turns away in shame at the reminder of the twin bloodstains of her father and mother which lay on her skin, her father’s for mere hours after she had heard the gunshot ring and felt his breath peter out and her mother’s for the last 17 years after she had died birthing her, Lucky? sure.
“Friend?”
He drops from the windowsill and lands on his feet on the tile bathroom floor, walking to Shilo and draping an arm over her stained shoulders
“Haven’t you heard? It’s front page news, your story- the opera- all of it.”
“What did it say?”
“Nothing you don't already know” he says with a flash of grinning yellow teeth -
