“Perfectly adequate,” he remarked with mock gravity. “Of course, the fact that there is another monarchy to be toppled does not give you much credit, but then, it is hardly your personal failing.”
There are visitors, at the barricades.

After his execution, Camille decides to haunt the staircase outside Robespierre’s rooms. Saint-Just may not appreciate running into an overly loquacious ghost every time he comes to visit. at least not in the beginning.

The one where we have an increasingly flustered Saint-Just running around Paris in search for jam tarts. And what happened after.
A palate cleanser for all the heartbreak that I usually write ;). -

Summary
“Citizen Etienne Beaumont, you have the floor.”
“T-Thank you.” He stuttered awkwardly as he glanced up and down from his papers.
His breath hitched in his throat as he glanced down at his words, neat handwriting detailing his thoughts and opinions, or childish rants as Genevieve called them. Each time he peered up, he grew more anxious, he had never felt more alone in a room full of people. All those judgemental eyes on him, their harsh and cold glares bore into him like a rabid dog, a rabid dog that was itching for a new meal or a new victim. Etienne trembled at the thought of their rejection, he took a deep breath and collected his thoughts and confidently, or as confidently as he could be, looked into the crowd and started to speak. The seconds after he stopped talking felt more like an eternity.
Or, I try and write a full length story about my Frev Ocs and their lore, and weird little relationships and their final years during the Reign of Terror.

Summary
When the aristocrats of the National Constituent Assembly voluntarily renounced their privileges, including the Soulmarks — which had bound powerful individuals and families for centuries — everyone assumed they would fade (or be shoved) into history with feudalism and exclusionary hunting privileges.
When the first Soulmark after the August Decrees appeared, it was on a market woman marching to Versailles. Some time later, a matching one appeared on a constitutional priest in Paris. Some ardent revolutionaries then began to believe that, rather than fading, this natural force had been freed from centuries of aristocratic greed and bondage. Now, like hoarded land and grain, it must be allowed to flow freely among the people...

Summary
He raises his eyes from the packed tumbrils, looking anywhere but at the men who will shortly die with him.
He ought to see it now.
He searches the Place de la Révolution. The crowd is clear enough, despite his injured eyes. The evening light is rich and bright — it ought to be staining the blade in anticipation of dressing itself in patriots’ blood.
But he cannot see the guillotine...

“Florelle!”
Saint-Just’s body responds instantly to the fear in Maxime’s voice; his muscles tense up, his eyes sweep the gleaming penthouse for the threat; he throws his bag aside and stalks in, letting the door slam behind him.
“What’s the matter”
“What is the matter?” Maximilien Robespierre, in his pale cashmere scarf, cup of coffee in hand, stands in the middle of the living room and stares at Saint-Just...

“There’s not as much structure, necessarily, but…“
Nearly forgetting about the camera, Saint-Just lets his fingers linger in the platinum locks; oh! he’d waited centuries! Before 2025, he had never even touched the wig of Maximilien Robespierre, let alone the hair underneath.

Summary
"The moonlight now shone upon the whole chamber and Antoine could distinctly see the demonic aspects of Maxime’s condition… and yet, he did not fear him. Nothing about the vampyre was in the least daunting to Saint-Just: not the sharp canine fangs nor the blood - his own blood - that stained his skin and clothes or the devilish glisten of his crimson eyes"

Summary
“…One can feel very exposed, I think, with the neck out.”
When Saint-Just’s hand idly brushes his own bare throat, none of his viewers can tell that a sickening chill stirs deep in his belly. Just the lingering effects of having his head sliced off, though the rest of the punishment didn’t stick. The only thing that shows up on camera is a handsome man in a pale button-down shirt who is, apparently, comfortable enough to keep the top several buttons undone.
“The obvious modern solution is the tie.” He pulls out a luxurious blood red one from a sleek box and keeps chattering as he begins to put himself together.
After being rescued via a magic portrait, Immortal Saint-Just in the Modern World tries to help other temporally displaced individuals.**I made a series so that these would all be together, but they're pretty much stand-alone drabbles & you don't have to read all of them/read them in order!**

Summary
La Fayette and Robespierre find themselves alone for the first time ever. Despite their political differences, La Fayette decides to be bold and make a move on his enemy, proposing a compromise that would suit them both.
Robespierre quickly gets confused about the warmth he feels around the general, despite knowing he should stay away- it's impossible for him to. The two will have to move through obstacles and not let their political views ruin their hearts.
A self indulgent OOC fanfiction for this ship that I feel I created and am the only content creator for it. Pls don't come at me over the people not acting in character, they follow tropes and emotions that comfort me inspired by my own experience.

Summary
Saint-Just holds the cold, trembling hand tight as he wends through every dark alley and side street he can find. The route is twice as long as it would be if they went along main streets, but it’ll be far less alarming for a man who’s just stepped out of the Place de la Révolution 1794 — as Saint-Just well knows from experience.
He punches in the code — nothing to be done about that; twentieth and twenty-first century living has made him soft, but not decadent enough to have a doorman. The old building had a physical key for a long time, but Saint-Just upgraded the security a couple decades ago. Not for himself as much as for the hundreds of tenants whose standards are a bit more recent than the Enlightenment.
So the revolutionary painter David was so devastated about not being able to die to save Robespierre & friends that he spent the rest of his life pouring all his energy into painting them, an act of devotion so intense that it created a kind of magic...This is the Origin Story for the My Revolutionaries In The Modern World drabble series!

Summary
“You’re going to kill me, one day. I m-mean, you’re going to sentence me to death,” Camille proclaims, holding both glasses. “The least that common decency requires before such an occasion is sharing a drink.”
On a rainy night, Saint-Just walks to a printer's shop in a futile attempt to persuade a certain journalist.
But look – here’s Camille, the flash of the green cockade on a dark jacket in the crowd, a deeper shadow under the lantern, and that brittle smile, gone as soon as you try to focus your eyes on it.
