Sirius Black has spent over a decade straddling two lines: the one between his contracted wife, Alecto Carrow, and the one he wanted--killing the remaining Death Eaters. He didn't count on Voldemort coming back to life, he didn't count on the Order reforming. He really didn't count on a 25-year-old Pansy Parkinson, Dark Mark on her arm, showing up on his doorstep three times a week.
What he couldn't have predicted was counting down the minutes until he saw her again--or that he would struggle to keep her alive in this war while they straddled the line between light and dark.
Pansy had sworn nothing would make her deviate from her desire to escape this war alive--but she hadn't expected being assigned to Sirius-fucking-Black as her handler, not when her life was on the line and certainly given they couldn't seem to stay away from each other.
