But something feels off about this War. The stars shine ominously from where she sits in the comforts of the room, breathing in the incense meant to relax her.

In the great holy grail war two teams of 7 servants and masters each compete against each other as a failsafe mechanism. At least that was supposed to happen. Somehow this mechanism malfunctions and takes effect twice, effectively putting 4 teams into the war. However, with so many needed masters the grail has trouble finding compatible masters. That's why it decides to simply summon the needed masters from two holy grail wars on a separate time stream. Now the black, red, white and blue masters must compete in the great holy grail war.
