Summary
"Surgery is a sort of dance.
It requires grace to do it well. Balance. Precision. Weaving around one another in time to the rhythm of— not music, but a patient's beating heart. A squeeze on the hand in the dance hall might mean, get ready to be dipped. In the operating room, pass me the forceps.
If surgery is a dance, he and Hawkeye make excellent partners.
Which is all to say, he can't understand why it is that Hawkeye refuses to actually dance with him. That night in the O-Club, nor any night, for that matter."
Or, BJ learns, perhaps, why it is Hawkeye won't ever accept his offers to dance. Which he's not upset about at all, because he's only asking as a joke (of course).

Summary
Ten years after the end of the war, Jay Hunnicutt brings his life-partner John McIntyre to meet an old friend in New York City, who hasn't left Maine in nearly a decade and wasn't sure he wanted to fulfill a promise made only half-seriously.
or
Hawkeye Pierce hasn't seen B.J. in person in a decade, and hasn't heard from Trapper in longer. Trapped in Crabapple Cove by fame he never wanted, he finds himself faced with the future he denied himself all those years ago, when the people he's turned into characters in his stories remind him that real life is never quite that simple.
-
Jay Hunnicutt was the best thing to happen to John since he'd come back from Korea, blowing in on a California summer breeze that landed him at Children’s in the middle of the winter of '54. It was like meeting him had woken up parts of himself he'd thought had died when he couldn't reach Hawkeye on that last, terrible day before he went home.
There were things Jay didn't talk about. He didn't talk about Korea, which was fine because John didn't talk about Korea, and he didn't talk about his ex-wife, which was fine because John didn't talk about his ex-wife.Series

Summary
A very sentimental retelling of the events of MASH
-----------------------------------------
There’s a ritual at the 4077th that every new nurse gets twenty-four hours before the other girls give her the truth. They let Hawkeye, Trapper, and Blake circle around and sniff and then they give her all the gossip - so they can’t taint her expectations before she meets the boys.
It usually starts with something like: “Don’t flirt with Hawkeye first.” -

Summary
When BJ opens the door, his mind goes completely blank. Because this isn't right. Those tight brown curls, sparkling eyes, and broad smile, they're, he's, but— "Your flight doesn't get in until tomorrow," BJ finally manages to breathe.
Trapper shrugs, cocking his head. "So I got an earlier flight. You gonna make me sit on the front porch 'til my taxi woulda got here?"

Summary
Three months after the excitement and mild worry their camp chaplain might be a spy, and the subsequent realization that he was not by Col Flagg, all is well. Yet, discoveries like this came with a double edge sword, Flagg was now aware someone with Father Mulcahy's skill set existed, and now found himself in need of a translator. Specifically, as he lays out the details (at least the unclassified ones) to Col Potter and the Father, one who knows Russian and can take confession for a recently defected Soviet Colonel on his death bed.
Hawkeye thinks the mission is stupid, and tells Father Mulcahy as much, his worry palpable to the camp, even Flagg who promises it will only take three days.
As three days turn into four, Hawkeye can feel his heartbreaking.

Summary
"The truth." Hawkeye’s voice rose. "The truth is we're in Korea. And the future is whatever happens tomorrow, not hundreds of years from now. The future is whether that kid with the chest wound makes it through the night, not whether humanity decides to hold hands and sing kumbaya in space!"
When a transporter malfunction drops Julian Bashir into the Korean War, he trades dermal regenerators for scalpels and discovers three truths: frontline medicine is brutal, homemade gin is terrible and necessary, and watching someone else suffer through possibly requited love makes you determined not to do the same.
Welcomed into the 4077th MASH, Julian befriends nurses who deserve far more respect than they get, flirts with a doctor who’s far too wisecracking to actually be ok, and tries to save as many lives as he can until he’s rescued.
If he’s rescued.

Summary
"You say he's got good hands. Slender surgeon's hands.
Have they touched you? You haven’t written as much, but I get the sense that they have.
Good. I like that. He seems to be another match for you. If I can’t have the pleasure of touching you, I’m glad someone else who’s decent can."
Following Trapper being sent home, he does write to Hawkeye. What he writes changes their relationship, and subsequently Hawk's relationship with BJ in Trapper's absence.
healthy doses of sex, emotional repression, angst, and some healing thrown in there.

Summary
Hawkeye accidentally discovers that B.J. likes it when Hawkeye tells him what to do.
Really likes it.
(or)
Another nod, and Hawkeye let himself smile.
“Good boy.”
This was a gamble. He knew from painful experience that sometimes you tried something out and it failed spectacularly, like the time B.J. had tried pinning Hawkeye’s arms and all it had done was set off his claustrophobia.
The soft moan B.J. let out told Hawkeye that in this case, he’d rolled well.Series

Summary
Charles gave BJ’s shoulder what he guessed might be intended as a reassuring squeeze, but it did the opposite-BJ was startled and alarmed. Why was Charles trying to reassure him? He instinctively leaned away from the hand while trying not to move his head, as Charles, Lieutenant Epps, and Father Mulcahy appeared to have a brief conversation. They all looked slightly troubled, especially Father Mulcahy, whose eyebrows were knit tightly together, a hand wrapped around his rosary. ... God, this was infuriating, BJ thought, wishing he could understand what they were saying.

Basically, what if it was BJ who lost his hearing in Goodbye, Farewell and Amen?

Summary
After an exhausting night in which she fell asleep on the couch in Yelena’s arms, Kate Bishop wakes up in an unfamiliar place—a makeshift operating room in which she’s being called upon to save lives. All the usual questions run through her mind: Where am I? How did I get here? How do I get home? What happened to Yelena? But before she can figure out the answers to those questions, she’s got to stop her patient from bleeding out!
My take on the Bishova September Week Day 4 prompt – AU Fiction (Sci-Fi/Fantasy).
“Doctor? Doctor? Doctor Bishop! He’s starting to bleed out.” A nurse at Kate’s own operating table broke through her disconnected attempts to make sense of her environment.
“Oh, shit!” the raven-haired now-surgeon muttered. What the hell was she doing? Where the hell was she? One minute she was cuddling with Yelena and the dogs on the couch after a particularly stressful patrol—she had remembered that much—and the next, she was here—wherever that was—with some young man’s life in her very much unqualified hands.

Summary
Hawkeye was lounging on the couch backwards, his head hanging off the seat, neck crooked at a ninety-degree angle. One hand tucked under his shirt, resting comfortably on his stomach, the other stretched out palm down on the floor by his head. Stopping his large frame from slipping to the floor.
“When you said you were counter cultural, I didn’t realise you’d go this far with it.” BJ prodded at the round of foot exposed through the hole.
“BJ Hunnicutt enters from stage right with a witty observation.” Hawkeye grumbled.
“Your back?”Hawkeye needs a massage, BJ is happy to be at his service.
