Alma is pleased when her triplets get Gifts. She's not worried when little Isabela doesn't get a door. Why would her nietos get Gifts? She never expected it.
Then Pepa's Dolores gets a door and the amazing ability to conjure any type of flower she wants.
Bruno's vision shows Luisa not getting a door either. Alma is devastated, but she knows who's at fault.

Update: Pedro, Casita, and Mirabel talk in the afterlife. Casita's rebuild gets started, and Alma tries to make amends.
*Someone suggested this AU. The cool familia get their Gifts on their Quince instead of at five. My reasoning is their Gifts will be more powerful, something a five year old can't control. Mirabel is still the same, even though she's Bruno's daughter here. She gets a door, it disappears. Bruno has a plan to stop her heartbreak.*

Despising how the miracle had lead to so much corruption in his family, Pedro's spirit offers Mirabel a golden opportunity: full control of the miracle, as was her birthright.
The miracle was dying, and Alma was to blame. She betrayed her helpless granddaughter and branded an innocent child a demonspawn, and Pedro would let her know exactly who was at fault for the destruction of her life's work.
The Madrigals will pay for turning their back on family, and the so called demon would get her justice, and a second chance at a better family.

Mirabel Madrigal was sent away from the Encanto after her failed Gift Ceremony by Abuela Alma, and her parents didn’t protest or try to find her. When she was sent away, 5-year-old Mirabel got lost and stumbled onto some strange animal-people moving things through a glowing circle. She stumbled through the ‘circle’ while running away from the yokai, and wound up in the sewers of New York.
In the sewers, she was found by a turtle-person the same age as her, named Mikey. He brought her back to his family, who adopted her as one of their own after hearing her story. She grew up with the Turtles and Splinter and April as her family, far away from the toxicity of the Encanto. She became a ninja like her family, and fought the Shredder and the Kraang alongside them, and even gained powers through Hamato Ninpo when the others did!
Unfortunately, her past wouldn’t stay in the past forever, and she would have to confront her old family when she and her new family wound up in Columbia on the day of Antonio’s Gift Ceremony…
