Jin took a deep breath and braced himself as he stepped through the door. He had no idea where it would lead him this time but he had a feeling it would be nowhere good. He closed his eyes fighting against nausea that the shift always caused whenever he travelled to a new world.
When everything stopped spinning and the churning in his stomach subsided Jin opened his eyes. He was laying on soft grass in the middle of a field with a few trees scattered around and a dark wall of a forest looming on the horizon. As he took in his surroundings the world around him came into focus and the sounds filtered in.
Jin could hear faint shouts in the distance. He could not make out any words nor determine if there were any to begin with but he pushed it to the back of his mind as soon as he heard a coo of a dove above him.

Namjoon flinched as a couple of rats scampered right past his feet towards the docks, a cat right behind them.
"Which ship is it?" Taehyung whispered while raising on his tiptoes to get a view past Namjoon’s shoulders into the nearly pitch black darkness of the harbor. The dim light of some street lanterns in the distance reflected on the cobbled promenade that connected the wooden docks on the right to the Capital Geum Jib on the left.
Namjoon tried to ignore the feeling of Taehyung’s hair tickling his ears as he squinted his eyes to see clearer. "We have to wait for Seokjin’s friend to take us there, we can’t just get on deck like that." He started chewing on the insides of his cheeks while double-checking their bags. Did they have enough food for a four or maybe five day trip?
"Try me, I bet we could. Just pretend like you belong there, head high, look equally busy and bored, nobody would guess we were trying to escape a trial for tr-"
