It had started subtly. Unnerving coincidences. The same black cars parked down the street. Finding out their landlords had suddenly sold the building to an anonymous corporation. Their jobs becoming inexplicably difficult – shifts cut, hours changed, strange figures asking innocent-sounding questions about them. Then it escalated.
