"Lord Voldemort watches as Harry’s shoulders tense as he steps forward, reaching his wandless hand out to the young man's face and tilting his chin with soft fingertips. Emerald green meets ruby red; the contrast of the two couldn’t be more noticeable. “I do not regret things Harry Potter, but I would be remiss to acknowledge that no longer having you as my enemy in that way would have been… interesting at the very least.” The lilting voice is soft, so unlike his usual harsh tone.
Harry huffs a single laugh, bright and cheerful, which makes him look younger at this moment. Tears sting Harry’s eyes. “So it wasn’t a lie back then?”

You didn’t find yourself enjoying the company of those around you, and you doubted they’d enjoy your company either. Everyday was the same: get up, go to class, study, eat, study more, rinse, and repeat.

They both have emotional scars that they have never discussed with anyone other than mind healers.
Can these two former rivals become soul mates and aid each other’s recovery?
This is a simple sweet love story, with implied sexual content, a bit of flirting and a lot of banter. There is emotional trauma and insecurity but no real angst.
The characters are not mine. They belong to J.K. Rowling.
The history of the plot is largely canon up to fifth year, where some minor variations have been made to suit the story line, the most major one being Sirius Black is not dead. He killed Bellatrix Lestrange some time during seventh year, prior to the battle.
I've always loved Sirius as a character, and wanted to include him. I had no need for Bellatrix.
I have kept the chapters deliberately short to make for light reading, so there will be lots of them. I will update when ever I can.

Sirius una vez se sentía intocable, pero luego de vivir un infierno, él ya no era la misma persona. Ahora hará lo que haga falta para proteger a los que ama.
Severus Snape no era un buen hombre y tampoco era agradable, pero todos sus errores los pago con cada cosa que le quedaba. Dió sus días y noches, su salud y su vida a la causa. Todo para enmendar sus errores del pasado.
Luego de su muerte es que por fin pudo respirar en paz por primera vez. Pero no duro mucho, ya que antes de darse cuenta volvió a la vida de nuevo con una nueva oportunidad. Nadie ha muerto aún y Voldemort sigue vivo, pero a Severus ya no le importa. Ya dió toda su vida y destino una vez, no lo volverá a hacer.
Está vez vivirá para si mismo y dejara la guerra para otra alma en pena.
