Summary
Alexander Hamilton, recently having moved to New York midway through his junior year, is the new hot topic of Harlem High, the most prestigious high school in Upper Manhattan. He’s quick to find friends in Marquis Lafayette, John Laurens and Hercules Mulligan, who, after witnessing his writing in real time, beg him to join the Debate Team. The Debate Team has been split into two hateful sides, the Federalists and the Democratic Republicans. The Head of the Democratic Republican side of the Debate Team, Thomas Jefferson, and his Co-Head, James Maddison, are the most hateful of them all. Head of the Federalist side and Host of the Debate Team, George Washington, is in dire need of assistance, leading him to call upon their newest member, Alex, to represent him as his Co-Head. But the messy Cabinet Battle screaming matches with Thomas and the weight of carrying the entire Federalist side on his back are the least of his problems, because as advanced and distinguished as Harlem High likes to make itself out to be, there is a lot of drama. With two of the three infamous Schuyler sisters chasing after him, along with the simmering rivalry between Alex and the notorious and detached Aaron Burr, Alex is put under enormous pressure.

“He's just in the bathroom, he should be coming any second now.” Lafayette replied. He was always so nonchalant, and Alexander sometimes envied that.
Peggy sighed, a bit dramatically. “It's a man?” She grumbled. “I was so hoping that I'd get to slowly build an all female team. I’m pretty sure enough men work here.”
Lafayette peeked out from the little cubicle wall that he'd gone behind, waving Alexander over. It was a bit silly, given that Laf was taller than the divider, and Alex couldn't help but smile.

Unknown to both of them is the ghosts that remain trapped on the property not all of whom are happy about someone new moving in.
