Thomas’ throat bobbed. “You can't do that.”

Suddenly and without the slightest hint of warning, Hamilton’s lips crashed into his. Thomas’ mind went completely blank as Hamilton held onto him for dear life, clutching onto his sleeve like it was the only lifeline tethering them together. Hamilton kissed him like there was no tomorrow, like passion was the one thing keeping him alive, which was when it finally registered for Thomas what was happening. He twisted away from Hamilton, his ears and cheeks feeling too hot as blood rushed to them. His heart felt as if it was two seconds from beating straight out of his chest, yet Thomas held himself as steady as possible on unsteady legs.
Slowly, he spoke the first question that came to mind, but in a mere whisper.
“Was that your plan to silence me?”
